My father-in-law inherited what I believe is a 14' Penn Yan Cartopper. Anybody know what this boat/trailer combo might be worth in a decent market? It appears to be in good shape.

You can always list on EBay with a low start but high reserve.
That should give a good idea of what folks are willing to pay.

I considered that but I don't have an eBay account. I had one once and it got hacked and somebody used it to bid on a bunch of stuff without my knowledge. eBay finally closed it after six months of nasty emails trying to get somebody's attention. I've been reluctant to set up a new account ever since. I guess it's time to get over it.
Do you have any up and coming antique boat events? The boat looks very similar to one I had back in 1953, mine was no spring chicken. Yours may be as old or older, it appears to be in decent shape. I would spend some time trying to nail down its real worth, Penn Yann started building boats in the 20's.
