Hold on, what is that big yellow thing in the sky? Could it be......no, it can't be, but........YES, it is the SUN! After not seeing it for almost 4 weeks, the sun is out in JH! I think I might cry.........
The upper mountain is still closed as avalanche control continues.......
Reports are coming in from other resorts......Telluride had a inbound slide that buried two guests, niether hurt. Squaw had a bad one, Northstar, 8 snowmobilers in BC. Been a bad year.
Anyway, it is so nice to have some sun on your face. They dug out the resturants that got hit all night. Damage is moderate with no structural damage.
Reservations definetly slowed way down today, but no cancellations so far. Sounds like we might weather this after all.
Other than the funeral, definetly a better day today..............:)
