With that control what do you guys do for the trailer button for the drive trim, install a separate momentary switch?

You just hold the button and goes all the way up for trailering.

Would this bypass the trim limiters on my boat? Is there anyway to set it up so the limiters would still work.
Also depending on your shifter you might need to install a switch for your lanyard.

It shouldn't if you have the trim limiter installed and correctly wired in. I need to keep the trim limiter in place since I'm not the only one who operates the boat.

I think the answer is to install a separate momentary button/switch and wire it to replace the trailer button on the Merc control.

On the Minx, I had a line of three identical switches. The two outer were for tabs, the center was for trim/trailer, NOT wired through the limit switch. The throttle, however, was.

I had one. Not enough spring tension to hold my whipple supercharger throttle. Probably would have worked with a carb though. Sold it and moved on to the Dana Marine one, it's adjustable and I like the separate gear shifter.

The Livorsi is a repackaged Italian throttle.

Brown, of all the people I know you should not be bothered by the trailer limit. If it does bother you I'll tell your father.
