I was told by a scientific friend that during the few days that all aircraft were grounded after 9/11 the average temperature over the US rose three degrees. So are we in fact keeping the planet slightly cooler with all the jet emissions, car and other items that many feel are heating it up? We may need to find a way to shield the world from rising temperatures as we reduce polution.
