Saturday morning I got up early, dressed quietly, made my lunch,
grabbed the dog, slipped quietly into the garage to hook the boat up
to the truck, and proceeded to back out into a torrential downpour.

The wind was blowing 50 mph. I pulled back into the garage, turned on
the radio, and discovered that the weather would be bad throughout the
day.

I went back into the house, quietly undressed, and slipped back into
bed. There I cuddled up to my wife's back, now with a different
anticipation, and whispered, 'The weather out there is terrible.'

My loving wife of 20 years replied, 'Can you believe my stupid husband
is out fishing in that ****?'
I still don't know to this day if she was joking, but I've stopped
fishing.

Nice! Scot, when are the Texas guys going to do something? Can you get a plan together?

Man - Its WAY TO #^$%#ing COLD OUT THERE right now. And a good friend of the site just had some serious damage to his Sea Ray from a submurged dumpster......Clear Lake and upper Galveston bay is not a fun place to be right now.

.....So, I'm gonna go where its warm....Sunny Flo-rida:yes:

I was just thinking of spring which will be here in a month or so:yes:.

Scot and I drove "over" something while on our test run and it was scaaary! Luckily we were at idle.

Any local or non local lakes? I know that you like to "long haul" but I am not able to go to Florida for an outing unless I take all my people with me (wife and kids...teenagers)!

Scot was saying we might want to go to Lake Charles VIA Intercoastal Canal...do you think it would be ok going that way?
