Has Donzi dropped the ZX???

I went to the Donzi Marine website to look at a ZXO and I can not find any ZX models!! I know that they were still there a month or two ago. Does anyone know if they dropped the ZX line???

It was there like a week ago, maybe it was two. But I just went to the site and was surprised too. It seems like they were trying to ease it out for awhile now.

they had been making the 28 zxo and the 33zx all the other zx's have been slowly dropped the 45 43 28 26 22 it looks like the zr will be the flagship line as of now

Correction.. The 28zx line & the 38zx were the ones being made not the 33. The 22, 26, 33 & 45 were dropped a while back.. They have been doing the Zr line up because it has been seling better for them.. While I like the Zr's I really miss the entire Zx line up.. :( I was really hoping that they would still make them.. They aren't the only company to cut some models and cut out the smaller offshore sized boats.. Reggie made some changes recently as well to what they offer from Fountain, not to mention what he has also done with the Baja line up.. ;) Jamie

Yes.. I was telling Josh Stickles this morning when we were chatting that I am sad to see them not offered anymore.. But there is a slight ray of hope that someday they may return in some form or another... Jamie / Lakeside

They were still building the 28ZX and 28ZXO.
Might build a 38ZX if one was ordered.
Usually the molds are stored for 5 years for warranty porpoises and then destroyed.

According to what Josh told me yesterday the run is over.. :( At least I still have mine to enjoy.. Although it sounded like some of the new stuff they are working on will be Bitchin'.. Especially one of the center consoles. It sounds like it will be quite the party machine with a neat seating & controll set up.. :nilly::kingme: Jamie

I hate to see the Zx go but in today's economy it will take drastic measures to stay afloat. (no pun intended). I hope that Donzi can streamline, refocus on quality instead of quantity and survive this market without any other drastic measures.

so the 22zx molds have to be close to the chainsaw by now was 2003-04 the last year they offered it???
hard to have model lines so close nature, this winter will be tough on all boat mfg's
hoping Donzi will do well with the zr line

They kept the 28zx and 38zx last year.(new 28zx with windshield on Jacksons sales floor.)They dropped the 33 a couple years back.Maybe now that my 22zx is still for sale,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
