This is not mine, but is like mine. It is NOT a genuine Gibson but a copy as is mine. The REAL Gibson Les Pauls sold new for $5500.00. One sold on eBay recently for $2500.00. I took mine to a guitar luthier and had it worked on and now it plays very well.

Is there something not condusive about playing a strat and a long life?

Hendrix is dead.
SRV is dead.
From the size of Mason, it won't be long.
Have you seen Eddie lately? It won't be long until there is a Tribute Edition on ebay.

RT. I haven't heard anything about him in a long time. He was touted as the next Hendrix.

The first few seconds of this vid is black.

I used to call him a mad scientist with a guitar.
I saw him at the very first concert held at the Lakeland Civic Center.

They tore down the LCC several years ago. :(

At that concert was Aerosmith, and Rod Stewart also.

Here is a song I play, but I have to change back and forth with my Ovation 12 String to my Les Paul to do it! I really would like the double-neck.

Here is a very poor video my Aunt took of me a few months ago when she was visiting, I played her a song. I had a few glasses of wine in me, and the guitar was not in perfect tune. But its me.

The Ovation is also electric and rocks through my Marshall Valvestate 8080 amp.

I love music. I won my first guitar and amp playing poker, bought a decent guitar 15 years ago, I've owned an E-flat alto sax since the fifth grade, and still I can barely play the radio. :(

We could argue all day about the best guitarist of all time, but if there has ever been a better bass player than Jack Bruce, I've never heard him.

Hey Mike O,

So, are you the keyboard player in the "Donzi Registry Empty Fuel Tank Band" ?:shades::wink:...Studied music years ago in Boston (70's). Getting back into it. Played percussion, a little guitar (strat, mesa boogie 50 cal ). Just bought this older analog cx3 with the B-3 tone:wink:. Loving it... practice, practice, practice... (santana 1)

You mentioned Santana...I recently downloaded the guitar tabs for "Smooth" and I'm learning to play it.

Carlos Santana was a Gibson SG and Les Paul player until he switched to "Paul Reed Smith" guitars.

Good point. I liked GB alot, but I couldn't tell a great drummer from a mediocre drummer. Maybe it's just me, but I'd just as soon watch paint dry, as watch a drum solo. :)
