Don't know if this is the correct forum to discuss carpeting, but here goes: I wanted to let forum subscribers know about a very good experience I had with R&R Boat Repair and Restoration of Georgia. While their main specialty is boat repair and restoration--hence the name--they also do carpeting. I sent the snap-in carpet of my 1996 , 16 Classic to them and they replicated it in 40 oz marine carpeting for a very good price. I have photos if anyone is interested in seeing the results. While I did not have the logo added to the carpet, the end result was very much to my satisfaction and the price was right. You can contact them by emailing carpetman@bassboat carpets.com. Send it Rick's attention. I believe they also sell pieces of carpeting that you can install yourself. What I like most is they are one of the few places I contacted that have 40 oz carpeting versus the standard 20oz that everyone else sells.

Yes!
Very interested in some photos of how/ what they did, cost and turnaround time. Did they keep your templates, or did they need the boat to do it? I will be looking for a set for my 1967 16' soon, but do not really want to send the boat across the country!

Thanks for posting and in advance for any answer you can offer up!

The address is 202 E Griffin Ave. PO box 114, Attapulgus, GA 39815. The phone number is 229-465-2628. I did most of my correspondence via email. The person I communicated most with is Rick. Very nice people to do business with. I'll send a photo and share costs with anyone who would like to email me with their email address. I sent them my original piece to use as a template. It was in good condition. They agreed to send it back as part of the deal, but I haven't seen it yet. I believe they do some sales on ebay. The best part for me was they use 40 0z carpet.
