I'd do two, when the time arrives. I missed this last time or something. I have about a dozen already, and a couple Lifelines (the large BULKY racing ones) but these are nice

Colour would not be grey tho... for me...

Did these ever get coast guard approved?

The last thing I need is extra life jackets around just to be legal :bonk:

I asked the same question when I got mine and Lifeline told me that because everyone is custom and there are not standard sizes ......they are not Coast Guard approved. They are some really nice jackets though.

It's baffling that a $3 life jacket can be USCG approved but these lifelines are not.

Typical government crap.

I doubt the Coasties would cite you for having Lifelines. Has this happened to anyone here? Whenever I've been checked they never looked at the make or label on the vests.

the lifelines are all 1 -off jackets

to be USCG approved every jacket would have to be tested to get the label

the cheapy ones are all exactly the same so if the manufacturing process doesn't change the approval is good for all that are the same

The most I have ever heard from the Coast Guard was I like your life jackets. I think most of them are aware of the name.
