flotation foam

[Sweet16]

I have a 98 sweet 16 and under the bow there is some flotation foam on bothe sides of the ski locker would it be a really bad thing if I were to trim some if it to create a little more storage space.

Trim away. If by some chance the boat wants to sink...it will end up Verticle....Bow Up..pointing toward the sky, being kept afloat by the air in the nose section under the fore deck. The engine weighing down the stern. John

thats kinda what I figured but just wanted to double check not going to trim alot out just try to amke a little more storage space
