well seeing this is a boating site i think maybe we should have a boat chain instead of a song chain well maybe not a chain but here are the rules you get one shot here one post one pic it must include a pic and it cannot be the same model as already posted it should be the boat you think is the nicest ever built( no sailboats or sundecks it must be what we would consider a high performance boat or sport cruiser fishing boats are ok as long as they are made by a performance company no discussion or response posts until all the pics are posted no goofy pics no goofy comments you can include a short explination or description of your pic if you like you may say I agree with so and so and the blank model is the nicest if you truely agree. and if you have no pic of your boat DO NOT POST UNTIL YOU HAVE A PIC, YOU MUST HAVE A PIC!!!! IN YOUR ONE POST

ok can we act as adults ( LMAO judging by the politics section hell NO ) and maybe we can get a great thread going

here is mine a pic is worth a 1000 words scratch the 33 LE cig off the list

I think this is the best ocean racer ever designed
and the best looking too.

This boat was a Gold Cup racer from years ago, restored by Mark Mason and run on Winnipesaukee for several years, an absolutely amazing boat . .
beauty, noise, and elegance all in one!

Matty...I hope this doesn't break any of the 67 rules in your original post!

FB 55, (http://www.fbdesign.it/b55.php) with a 55' LOA, 9' beam, 2' draft at speed, cruises at 55mph in 4-5 Beaufort water, and tops out at 80+ mph.

Power options include ZF Trimax 2500 surface drives coupled to ZF350 gearboxes (caterpillar engines) or ZF Trimax 3200 surface drives coupled to ZF 550 gearboxes (Isotta Fraschini engines).

Aphrodite - a real stunner. And quite the performer in her day.

Check out the links below for much better pics and some of the restoration work.

I thought i would be able to not have to post twice and break my own rules

A PIC = one picture it is not plural

one post = one post not 2 or three

if someone posted a boat you would have picked say yes that one and post another pic

LOL

keep up the good work

I am no expert by any means and don't know much about the pre-1980's performance boats. It seems everyone is going retro. I am going to go with a new boat. 51 Outerlimits Sportyacht. With twin 1075 Mercs, it will hit 110 mph. Pretty impressive for a 51ft boat.

Since the Magnum 27 Sport and Cary 32' 6" have already been claimed, I'll go with an oddball...

1957 33' Chris Craft Futura "Black Beauty"... I'm generally not a big fan of CC's closed cruisers, especially post-1955 models, but I have always loved this boat.

When I got the issue of the Brass Bell with Black Beauty in the issue, I was overwhelmed. I covet that man's boat!!!

I don't know if anyone objected to my PT boat, but just in case, I'll switch to another choice. Van Dam boatworks' Alpha Z. 100mph top end.
