Glad it doesn't have an engine. If it did, I would have $6500 less than I do now!!! Someone needs to pick this up. Will be a knockout when restored.

Sorry, cutwater, but this is the Barrel Back for you! Would be an excellent addition to the Knoxville Donzi club! (and I don't have the $$ to finish the Triple AND this one:frown:) Oh and I know where you could probably get a merc setup...ahem...

That's my old boat. It's a very solid rig, no deck flex, has not seen water in many years. I was told it was originally built for the Secret Service to chase President Lyndon B. Johnson around his lake in Texas.
I had the original motor (427 Side Oiler) but sold it last year to a guy in Cali.
It sure is priced to sell!!!

there were several SS Donzi I know of a white and red 18 Barrelback 427 side oiler and a white and blue 16, I did hear rumors of others, did you have a hull number??? Brownie was looking for info on this a few months ago if it had the 427 in it I would be all over it and I could even live with going backwards in only one direction ;)

Kurt...Hi your old (66) 18 barrelback didnt sell on ebay...could you imform me-us about the history of this boat as you remember, where it came from ect.. Thanks, Michael
