In response to some of the questions I've been asked, here's a few more details. The paint is a repaint over the original gel coat. The original color of this boat appears to have been a light tan, not red. Also, the holes in the dash are from removing gauges that the previous owner installed. One was a boost gauge for the turbo motor that came with this boat. Due to some serious hacking & rigging - that motor was tossed. I had a new engine built (the big block that's in there now) so that I could be sure I wouldn't get stranded on the water. Mechanically it's extremely sound. The transmission lost forward the last time I had the boat in the water. I haven't had time to pull the engine & get in there to see what's going on. It could be something minor, but given the nature of the previous owner's skill level I'd suggest a complete rebuild or new replacement.
All things considered, this is a great boat. I bought it as a starting platform to make sure I liked owning a boat. I thought it would be a nice change of pace from building & restoring cars. It was / is, but unfortunately (maybe not so unfortunate :) ) my wife has a medical condition that is aggrevated when we're on the boat. She has decided we need a bigger / heavier boat for a smoother ride & I'm NOT going to argue. That said, I've priced this boat to sell quick so I can move on something bigger. Gotta keep the wife happy.
Let me know if there are any other questions or would like photos of something specific on the boat. 302-653-4269 Kurt

It doesn't have the turbo motor anymore - that thing had so much butchering going on that I wouldn't use it as an anchor.

The HIN is up under the upper right (standing at the transom) lip of the deck/hull or on the transom itself.

That is what we are curious about. :)
