This boat is very well known on Lake George. It runs great and is a super, early Ski Sporter. Use/enjoy it as it is for cheap $$$$ and/or throw a little paint or gel on it and be all set!

I looked at the boat for Earl up at the dustoff a few years back, he was having some problems with props , What I know of the hull it is hull 409 one before my old 16 at it is a 67 which means it doesn't have any deck coring to worry about being soft or wet, the motor and drive were replaced with a volvo 290 and a high HP volvo performance motor i think in the neighbor hood of around 300+ ponies SBC as the drive is an A ratio 1.3 that's why he had problems turning a 28 pitch chopper he got that all worked out, the hull was painted white or light mint green and Earl removed the old paint by hand down to the original gel, the boat was originally inca gold and but maybe due to prep or painting it has a lime green appearance with the dark green stripes and interior it looks good. I have not seen the boat this year but when i did it ran strong and for the price this is a good deal If i were looking for 16 this one would be off the market but we did the 16 we need an 18 or bigger

I owned this boat from 1981 to 1994 if anyone here buys it I have a lot of ducumentation and old pictures. I believe the engine package is the one I installed in 1987. I t was a stock Volvo AQ311/290 (350 chev, 311 hp, fw cooled, 290 drive) Its an imron paint job from 1984 or so. The ogiginal gel was a mustard yellow.
