I worked at a stairbuilding shop (all wood staircases curved mostly) and we bought a similar product to put in front of all the benches. It wears forever.

I had Pirelli flooring in my Velocity, it's great stuff. The difference was it wasn't a molded ****pit boat, it's floor is built on top of the stringers so it was fiberglass encased plywood (synthetic now). It was simply easier for them to use a flooring material than try to do an external gel finish in an unmolded part. I don't think it would look very good in a molded ****pit boat since there is no seam or molding on the edges between the floor and the sides.

It could be that an experienced rolled goods installer could do it to a high level of finish.

MJ, how was it to clean? Every time I see it it looks like you would have to scrub it in 8 different directions to get it fully clean.

I'm in the flooring business. It's the best floor ever. Just expensive and you need to be a very good installer to make it right. Bobby what happened to the hood?

Very easy. I used spray nine on any stains and they came right up with a quick pass of a brush. Looked as good in 2002 when I sold it as it did in '96 when it was laid down.
