Mixing Diesel oil with gas

My next door neighbor says he has a friend with a 24'Seawolf running a 440 Chrysler engine.. He mixes 15% diesel to his gas and it improves his gph by 20% Anyone ever heard of doing this..


He is 75 and his buddy is the same age senile maybe..

I asked him if he was going to try it in his new 350SLR but he said no...Ed

Some of the farm tractors of the 1930 used a fuel that was similar to this. It was called all-fuel. I believe it was a mixture of kerosene and gasoline.. probably other stuff too.... It started on pure gas and switched to the all-fuel. I believe that the benifits was better ecomony and maybe more torque...

I kinda doubt that it would work in this app tho. Plus why do it... Diesel cost so much anymore it wouldn't save you much!!!
