I was reading that some of the states are looking to get it removed from the gas, has anyone else heard anything?

No idea but I did find a station that sells non-ethanol gas only.

There are a few stations around here that have ethanol free gas. I heard they have to truck it in from Canada.

They have been talking about the ethanol thing for a couple of years. seema that the percent added equals the extra fuel burned.

Just took a trip up the east coast from Tallahassee to Connecticut. I only found 1 station that sold regular gas. MPG went from 17ish to over 20 on regular gas, which totally blew me away.

I *think* it is the law to have the pump labeled if there is ethanol in the gas and our local Costco is not labeled.

United Refining Company of Warren, PA supposedly markets ethanol free gas. That's what I put in my boat.

When I worked at Honda that is about the percentage we found, but on a Civic it is more like 7mpd difference. The funny thing untill this year all epa mpg tests were done with not ethanol blend. You are correct the pumps must be labled if Ethanol is used.
