I have two types of shafts on the two Volvo Penta speedmaster drives. The drive I wanted to use has this type prop shaft and prop where the other has the conventional straight shaft which accepts Mercury 15 spline 1" props. Does anyone know what type prop this would be? It has the H643 stamped on it and has a beveled leading cavity to accomodate the beveled part of the prop shaft. Thanks, Bill

I just went back out to my shop to take some measurements. The splined portion of the shaft is 1 1/4" and the upper fat end is 1 3/4" diameter. Does this size shaft ring a bell? Thanks, Bill

Olllld Merc SSM....

Use the 1" std Merc...

Thank you! No doubt that those props would be few a far between and will probably not have much in the way of selection. I think I will follow your advice. If I am lucky, I can change that SSM shaft for one of the conventional ones from one of the others that I have. Thanks again, Bill
