Think it would look good? I bet it has enough power to tow the
22 Ilmor Viper

Yes, I think it will.

FWIW, a friend has a Viper that gets 22 MPG on the highway and 8 MPG in town!!!!!!

Imagine what this does.

Actually, I don't think it has much of a tow or haul rating at all. Not sure why exactly; I've heard it was partially due to the aluminum wheels not being rated for any weight but that seems a stretch.

I just know that as a former Lightning owner, we used to pick on that point about the SRT/10 trucks.

I just made a deal with her....she takes my Jag XJR if I get the Viper truck!
Hmmm....a crazed woman behind the wheel of a supercharged Jag....might be worth it!

My cousin tows a 25 Talon with his 6 spd Viper truck, so the answer is yes. No problem. The clutches are not the best for pulling out of the water, but if it goes it can always be upgraded and then no problem So far he is still on the stock clutch without issue. They are sweet trucks.

I'd shop around for a quad cab version with the Automatic. Besides, he's about $15K too high on his buy it now price.

BTW, I towed a Velocity 280 with my '01 Lightning all over the state without any issues at all. I don't think this would have any problems towing a 22C.

Yea, but its a limited edition, it came that way from the factory.
The spoiler stays. Maybe a bimini to cover the bed on those hot days! :propeller:

All the Viper trucks have spoilers. To each their own on taste, but in my book it has to stay. :)

9.5 city 10.6 highway at 60 m.p.h. Just bought back my 2000 Harley for better mileage...........Enjoy it:wink: ...Ed

....almost '0' miles, it's been around the Indy track and then flat bedded back up here to Ontario. My daughter's boyfriend's father not only has a Viper but he also has the truck. Truck hasn't left the garage since arrival. I think if he were to sell it, he'd be looking at higher $ though.
