Hey guys,

Here it goes...This is not for me personaly, but rather for my family.
We are planning on going F-1 Champboat racing next year, we are joining the big boys. But we will definatly struggle unless we can find someone to sponsor us, so I was hoping maybe someone on here had an idea or maybe wanted to do it themselves.

There are some advantages to sponsorship on our boat, the biggest being T.V. Coverage on SPEED when they broadcast the Champboat series racing, and lets not forget about all the fans that show up to the races!

Like I said, any ideas would be awsome!

Retired Miss Budweiser driver Tom D'eath recently bought an F1 team and is in Michigan this summer.

Sadly, his wife of several decades recently passed away from a heart attack a couple of months ago.

I know Tom thru the Classic Raceboat Association www.classicraceboatassoc.com (http://www.classicraceboatassoc.com). Tom resides in Tavares, FL and will be back in time for the November CRA event in Polk City, FL.

I do not have his number in Michigan but I bet he'd be glad to talk to you when he gets back to FL around October 1st. It seems you are in Florida? I can let Mike Yobe who is taking care of Tom's place about this and hopefully hook you all up. It would be worth the trip to Tavares just to look at all the vintage race boats the guys there own. Mike is restoring a 5.0L hydro now.

I know Tom, I was just up in Michigan this past weekend at a event he put on in Algonac. He has a driver, Chris Fairchild, who is also the same person he bought the boats from.

We don't want to race for someone, we want to own our team and have a sponsor, Tom wants to own his own team. But thanks for the information and suggestion, I really appreciate it!
