My friend is having shifter trouble and says it looks near impossible to get the assembly and cables out.......any tips?....it's a '79 with the original Morse(?) control.
Thanks!

He might have to cut an access hole in the side like I did years ago on my 1971 18' unless he has a skinny friend who does not have claustrophobia and is willing to crawl up the side - lol. He can make a plate or use an access hole for a filler. It sure makes it easy for maintenance in the future if he can live with the new hole. Bill

I can be done but is a bear. I did it once but now I make my sister. very small person craw under the front and do it. Corsican is so bad I cut an acceshole in the side ski locker.
