Interesting news during interesting times:eek!:
Have ya heard? GM is offering new Corvettes @ 0% interest for 60 months.
If you're interested, you'll have to look further on your own, but I don't think it's happened before.

I'm waiting for a similar deal on Ford pick-ups.

Don't know about Ford but Toyota is offering 0% for 72 mo on their fullsize but if it comes at the cost of some of their rebates then it a wash.

0% = free $$$ gotta love it!

Not a bad time to be in the market for a new vehichle right now.... I suspect it'll be like this for a lil while too....

Speaking of Vettes.... had to rent a car yesterday (long story) and was gonna take the Vette they had at Hertz (screw it...wasn't my dime figured it would be fun...) The lady ahead of me in line was a walk up like I was.... she rented the friggin Vette. I had to settle for a Mercedes C350...wasn't too bad.

I haven't driven one, but we had 3 Z-06's on the track with us over the weekend. Man, they sound good! They also look to handle a lot better than most of the BMW's, at least stock-for-stock comparison. The BMW guys are always fighting the front end, while the vette guys just seem to turn the wheel and go wherever they want.

'course, that didn't keep me from passing one of the two in my run group with some regularity....at least as long as he'd lift to let me by, because if he stayed in it, I wasn't getting around before the next apex!

I easily qualify for the 0%, and even get pretty big discounts (10k off sticker), but over $1000 per month still doesn't seem cheap to me  I'll keep dreaming for now:)

$40k DIVIDED BY 60 = $667/MONTH!!!

Most of us wouldn't need a Z 06.....

I don't need a Z either...

Coupes only qualify for 48 months @ 0% with a selling price in the mid 40's or higher depending on options. A loaded coupe sticker price is about 60k. Base model is about 50k. And of course, less options mean less discount... I know loaded I can get 8k off sticker, base model (if you can still find a base '08 that qualifies) is only about $4k off sticker.

On Convertibles you can get 60 months but try to find a lesser optioned convertible... it's near impossible to find anything other than 3LT++. Sticker price is usually almost 70k on them.:eek!:

I keep looking trying to justify it, but it hasn't happened... Still dreaming for now:)
