I was just up on Maine a few weeks ago and met a very nice lady who has a seafood shop up there. I talked with her about getting lobsters shipped to friends and she was happy to oblige.
For the Donzi folks she has:
1.25-1.50 lbs for $7.75/lb
1.50-1.75 lbs for $8.50/lb
AND Jumbo which is anything over 1.75 at $8.75/lb
Packing is $25.00 which includes the chest and ice packs. She uses FedEx so you can figure out the shipping to add to the total.
ALSO, At the end of August to early September the lobsters are in the shedding period which means they have soft shells and are the most harvested that time of the year. Holly says she can give even better prices during those times.
You can order by calling Holly at 207-567-3833. The company name is Wyman's Seafood. Tell her Wes from Texas let you know about this.
AND, while your at it, ask for some Atlantic Salmon. If you haven't tried it, it SMOKES Pacific Salmon.
