they connect metal together, not rubber

The work great on car exhausts and suck on boats unless the hose is inside of the clamp then they still leak eith hard side exhaust hose. Regular clamps are better on hose.

I don't use them on anything except water pumps but T bolt clamps are awesome

i have them on everything! they dont come loose or brake like the worm gear style:)
