Donzi 22 zx 350 mag had an alpha-one drive. Can I still add a whipple or procharger or should I just chill?
The Alpha is not a good unit to put behind blown or big power applications..

I have seen 425 hp bigblocks in front of them in a big azz scarrab which is much heavier then a 22 zx..you just have to be easy out of the hole and run a 3 blade propeller and it should work for a whyle:)or get a hold of Doncig and drop that 427 in it..

All depends how you drive and some luck. Could last years, 3 blade, low pitch, let it rev, no holeshots, etc and it will last.
Yes, it may work for a bit of time, but it is quite rough on them. They also can start to encounter shifting problems from overloading.. You would be best off with the bravo.. ;)

believe me I had a 22 zx always very smooth out of the hole and the vertical shaft sheared in half. If people are running an gen2 they are very lucky because its for sure to :hangum:
