WestJet is a great Canadian Airline that is run like a family business.
One of the principles was one of their first pilots.
The video is from the day they retired their first 737-200. The pilot was once agian behind the stick, he asked the tower if he could buzz the Hanger, they said only if he did a fly-by off the Tower first. There are employee signatures all over the plane....
At the end the firetrucks came out, unasked, to wet the plane down for the last time. That is the only "historical" part I'm not sure of. Dwight??

I am a 150% believer in Westjet. Being Platinum on both Delta and Northwest for over 7 years, these airlines pale compared to Westjet, but they are better than most of them in the states, imo.
