Need some guidance troops: Put new grommets in last spring, and several are working loose, thought I had installed them correctly, but apparently NOT!!!

God knows I don't want stress cracks in that impossible to replace Minx windshield, need suggestions on how to stop them from working loose, glue, caulking, longer screws?

Thanks in advance...I always get great advice from this group!!

If your talking about the center section, put machine screws through the windshield and deck and use lock nuts on the back side. At least that's what I did.
Now, on the sides, it's a little harder.

Another thing that does a decent job is clear Silicone, put a little dab in the hole then insert the screw, the screw will push it along into the threads where it will dry and hold the screw very well. But like George say through bolting is really good just be very careful not to over tighten that is worse then loose!

Thanks to both G.Carter and MOP, I'll likely use both procedures, silicone on the sides, and the longer screws in the center,

Appreciate the advise guys!
