Had to change out power steering hoses and got fluid all over the engine compartment.

Hooked up raw water intake hose\

Installed drive bottle and hose.

Installed drive and filled/bled air out of trim pump.

The boat is ready except for a few things.

1) waiting for ups to bring hatch scoop.

2) Need to get shift and throttle cables and install them.

3) Need to prucure and fabricate the fuel line for the carb.

4) Need to coat and install the transom exhaust gaskets/rings.

Thats it and I can go boat riding.

Yes I am drooling to get it in the water....
BUT my Brother-in-law has picked July 3rd to get married and We have to drive 8 hrs to Lubbock Texas for the wedding. I have to walk away from the boat for a week with it being so close to launch. Its tough to say the least....:smash:

In spite of the delay, it's still good to be so close.
It looks great Scot.

You can pick your friends...You can pick your nose...BUT you can't pick your relatives...

Looking good. It should ride better, run faster, and sound a lot better than it did with the eggbeater.

The slight wait will make it even sweeter. Where did you get the scoop? I know you told us but I must have missed it.

I bought it off of EBAY. It is a bolt on scoop from a 1979 mustang GT...
