View Full Version : Patsy Cline
I fell asleep with the tv on last night, and when I woke up the Patsy Cline movie was on. Jessica Lang is one of my favorite actresses, and Patsy Cline is the best female singer of all time in my opinion. Her voice gives me chills. Nobody has her voice.

Willie Nelson wrote that song btw. I read somewhere that he's had over 2,000 songs he wrote published.
Upon further thought, it was Crazy written by Willie. He may very well have written it too. This song showcases her voice better.

Cuda - you might want to try to a copy of the Cowboy Junkies '200 more miles' double live album from '95. They do an excellent version of Walking after Midnight, as well as Hank Williams' I'm so lonesome I Could Cry, and a lot of other great stuff live on that album like Blue Moon Revisited ...
I didn't find any of those songs on-line in my 2 minute search, but here's another from that album:

I like it. Her voice reminds me of Jewel
The scary part of this video is the fact that the shirt the guy is wearing looks just like the one for the tux I wore at my sister's wedding. If you had seen the shoes, it would really be scary!

Patsy sure turnd that around. I belive Sweet Dreams is the name of that movie that was on yesterday morning.
Here is my favorite female singer, she has the power and the range of Patsy, but not as much "soul" comes across.
I was absolutely in love with her in the 70's, and couldn't figure out why she was messing with the governor of California, when if she'd payed her cards right, she could have had me. :)
