Curious to see what is out there for prices , it really seems to vary.. But i was asked about the cost of fueling my boat..
Nope...
nothing like that run on the open water man, the last frontier for speed and noise..
Boating is expensive that is for sure but where can you do that kind of motorized ripping, and not be hasselled.
The day will come when these boats will be a rare thing to have sitting in the yard.

till then drink on the fossil fuels and smile at the sound horsepower out the pipes.

Last year (or was it the year before?) one of the local fuel docks on SF Bay had that problem. Solution? They dialed the pump price back by 1/2 and just put a sign on the pumps saying 'price is double shown'.

That was when you realized you were in trouble.

For anyone interested in day to day gas prices at Lake Winni, NH check here. The prices are for 89 Octane unless otherwise stated. 87 Octane is not generally available "At the Dock". Marinas on some parts of the lake also have gas Without Ethonal. I think it has something to do with which county you are in. John

Just talked to a client with a boat in Ensenada. Two weeks ago diesel was still $2.59/gal down there. He's in no hurry to bring the boat back up to the bay area where we're closer to $6.00/gal for diesel on the water (!!)

I've got to run my 32 Carver about 150 miles next week for the 4th. I'll be stopping in Pittsburgh as they always have the best prices. We'll see what the damage is on Wednesday morning when I get there...:hangum:
