I went out in the boat last night after I had a new heavy duty shift cable installed (old one was getting slack)

I just wanted to make sure everything was set right for the weekend etc.

i was just by myself and i had a 1 -1 1/2 ft chop 3/4 tank of gas :)

I came up on a bass boat running the other way and he turned around thinking he was going to race down the bay- he had a buddy with him

anyways he came by me and gave me The Wave as he thought i was tapped out and he was feeling like a big shot in front of his buddy :smash:

I must have been running about 60 mph and he would have been going maybe 70-75

so i let him get a little ahead and then let her happen

I got a new record for myself in the boat at 87 GPS (pictures to follow)

needless to say I blew by him , gave him the wave back, and kept going

great evening , good times :)

Stories like that make me feel good. Situations like that can't be helped. Nice job! 87 is moving!
