Polished. Less than 35 hours. They have the Vortex IV stainless risers with 27 inch primaries (the tubes continue into the risers. One of the risers has an EGT bung. These are great bling and performance for the buck. They are polished and have been used in freshwater only.

I would keep them but the clearance between my Procharger and the manifold is getting kind of tight with my new Brodie heads.

I am trying to come up with a fair price right now. They are hard to get these days.

No, they will not work with a silent choice. At least not with these risers. Nice bling, but I also wanted something that would handle a big cam. These will. Anything that will work with silent choice will revert with a big cam.

I think it is a shame too. I think that they are a dang nice piece and I bought them to keep. They actually have longer runners than the CMI's. They are good to 1,200 hp!

I assume this is what you have:

Do you have the Oil and Shifter brackets?

Stainless Marine has spacers for em I think...

Spacers would make them worse!

My issue is driven by the fact that the M-3 blower sits above and to the front of the manifold. It was tight before but the new heads bring the manifold up and over more. The big issue is that they came up.

There is a little mod I can do to the blower but it will not look clean. I have already had to space the blower out for other reasons and don't want to go any more there.

Like I said, I really like the Dana's but am done fighting battles

Yes.

I have whatever brackets are needed for a 502 MPI.

I don't have the oil bracket as mine was re-located to the transom.

I too have Q&Q. The correct risers for the Q&Q system will run an additional $1100 alone. Ouch! I think I will stick with the GLM for now.

I know how to fix Q&Q! It only takes a few wrenches and voila. Then you it put up for sale, recoupe some of your cost for new manifolds and have a setup ready for some power.

Then later on when it comes time to freshen you add a little bumpstick, some light head work and reprogram the ECU. You end up with a 502 MPI that runs with a 500 EFI!

You can't do that with the Q&Q though.

Sure I did, check your pm:wink:

I basically put them on, ran them for part of a season and then snatched them off. They have been sitting on the shelf in Eddie's shop.

They have been run very cool as well. I doubt my temps got over 130. I have the pics of the inside of my last engine to prove it:hangum: Yes, a thermostatically controlled oil cooler is a good idea when running at low temps!

They are so bling that they are hard to capture on film!

I will polish them and get some better pics.

How about a BBC Offenhouser or Crosswinds intake, cams, merc 888 outrive or a kid or two. I may even through in the old dog (not the wife, need her to make replacement kids). :biggrin.:
