New Puppy

[The Hedgehog]

Went and picked up a new puppy yesterday. He is a fired up little yellow lab named Roger. He loves to go meet people, explore and hang out with other dogs.

They were out of Hedgehogs at the pet store yesterday but I will certainly get him one of those.

Great looking little guy. I am sure he will soon be eating you out of house and home and growing like crazy. Great choice in a yellow lab. We sure do love ours and they are great hunting dogs as well as being huge lapdogs.

The young one on the left is Willy the one on the right is CJ. He passed last year this time. Gone but not forgotten.

Yes, I lost this guy (The black one) this year. He is gone but not forgotten. It is really tough to get over that.

I am pleased with my new choice. One of my college roomates had a great yellow lab. I spend lot's of time with that dog. My roomate's name was Roger.

Roger the dog is going to need some monitoring. He has that "up to something" look that is common with many labs.

Good luck with your new lab. I think they're the greatest dogs in the world. This is our new one, Betty. She just learned to swim yesterday and realized it's why she was born.

Nothing in the world cuter than a lab puppy, or most any puppy for that matter. At least you didn't make the mistake I did, I bought a lab puppy from a guy in front of the gun show. Don't expect to take more than one step at a gun show, without someone wanting to pet your puppy!

I had my three at the dog park yesterday. Luckily, there was a girl there, with a gadget to throw a tennis ball, which kept Dixie (my lab) busy for over an hour. She'd swim and fetch all day if I let her.

Labs are great. Puppies are real attention getters. It is even more dangerous when you take one to a college campus or other places where attractive young women frequent....Maybe I need to go to the park as well. Good thinking. Hey, where is that guy in the trench coat icon!

On the serious note, I need to get one of those throwing gadgets.
