I like the technology here....it's interesting and it couod fit into existing vehicles.
But, there's just no free ride. Electric compressors are probably only 50% efficient and then electric power plants (to provide electricity to drive the compressor) are only about 27% efficient.
There's the problem of pressurized gasses (kia-boom) in an accident. 4000 PSI is a lot.
If we're talking about using compressed gasses, how about 4-6K psi of Hydrogen to make electricity in a fuel cell powered electric car? Lots of companies now making lots of demonstrators. Just gotta get that Hydrogen infrastructure in place (and a source of Hydrogen).

Did you watch the video ??? it covers all of your concerns...BTW we are doing a turn key right now for fuel cells...would show you some pics but it would be career ending:wink:
