I saw the resto artical on that somewhere, HORBA Maybe. It was finished not too long ago. Good piece of history though.

It has to go back to the 70s doesn't it? Did they come with staggered engines back then?? The pics are crappy, this boat was immaculate. Check out the crib too.:eek!:

------This Bertram was bought from the guy from Speedmasters in Fla. by one of the family that owns Wolverine Bronze here in the Detroit area. Full Crockett drivetrain, I believe as I have seen it at Tylers shop more than once. That owner sold it to the guy with the house near the Coast Guard station at the end of the Clinton river. Hope he enjoys it as it is a true piece of work.........Bill S

Bill, it figures you wouls know about this boat. You own Lake St. Clair don't you:wink:. There are a lot of sweet performance boats docked around the lake but I knew at first look from a distance that this was a special boat. The long low profile and non-stepped hull and tricked out transom really stood out. What model year would this boat be?

Nice to see the old baby again, The Boat was renovated in a 2003, we did the interior, and it was on it's way to Daytona for the rest of the rigging. Beautiful boat, Here are a few picts we took when it was done

Damn! That is georgeous! Thanks for the pictures. Bill "It's a small world after all". Yes, thanks for the pics. I couldn't see the interior. The guy at the gas dock had talked to the owner and was told that top speed was about 82 mph and that the owner was thinking about removing the air scoops and having a sun pad.
