For anyone in the mid-atlantic area, this coming weekend is the annual BOTE (Beast of the East) hotboat weekend. Hundreds of monster jetboats, v-drives, and performance offshore boats show up at "Jack's Place" for BBQ, music, party, and some informal drag racing.
I've gone for the last 3 years, it's a blast.
Lake Anna is 90 minutes south of Washington, D.C. off the Thornburg exit on I-95. 10,000 acres of clean fresh water.
I'll be there...
