Oh how I wish I had a picture.
I was walking my dog in the park (w/ boat ramp) behind the house.
When I see this boat with a mean O/B hanging on the back.
250 Merc, short shaft, nose cone w/ low water pickup.
(That's the motor I wanted for my Hydrostream)
Only it's an old faded Bayliner bowrider about 16'. :smash:
After a few tries they manage to back it in.
The motor fires up and it is sounding just sweet !!
Then about 8 guys and gals get in. They can't get it on plane.
The prop just blows out. (X just a little too high)
So they spend about the next 30 minutes plowing back and
forth by the ramp throwing a 30' rooster tale. Lots of yelling
laughing, and beers all around. :nilly:
I was hoping to see a wave wash over the transom, they had
about a foot of free board.
Last I saw they were idling out to big part of the lake.
