I am buying a NEW distributor for my stock 350 MAG. The fuel injection is gone and now it is has a Barry Grant 650 Mechanical and a Performer manifold.
What distributor do I buy. I don't care about cost. I like blue coloured ones :)

I agree (minus painting it). Also, you can go with the MSD ignition and you know everything will work together.
Price is mid $300 range for the distributor.
I think you and I will have almost identical setups in the end. I am also going with a Barry Grant 650 and am considering updating the intake to the performer... I'm just not sure how much I'll gain on that intake over stock.

Lenny I have MSD on the Criterion and a Malory unilite on the Corsican. I have not had any trouble with eithee. I would go with the Msd because because they are common.

Mallory magnetic breakerless. I have countless hours on them in my 42 Sonic, never had a problem one. Seems like I'm always hearing about someone with a problem with a MSD. Just my $.02

What happened to the EFI? What type was it?

I agree.
Mad Dad had a bad problem with one of them ruined a weekend for him, I am many others run Tbolt with -0- problems. Just add a good after market coil and you are in business with an extremely reliable system. My Tbolt distributor is now 22 years old and still kicking!

The 1997 350 MAG MP EFI is removed. It is complete and in a box. It is for sale. :) $400 OBO.

I am also a MSD fan. You can paint or spray dye the cap blue and use a set of blue Moroso wires to keep the same color theme. I had problems with the pickups on the Mallory Unilite ditributors even though I used the ballast resistor that it called for, but they might have solved that problem as I heard. The MSD system in my Eliminator has worked perfectly for at least 12 years now. Bill
