1996 22C - I have a broken screw on the starboard side windshield. It is the most aft screw that goes through the stainless plate and the glass. It is broken off about 1/4" in. Is there a way to get it completely out? If not, how do I keep the windshield tight?
Thanks,
Tom

You have a firewall in the enginne compartment, don't you?????
Too bad if you do.
You could access it from under the deck.

I do have a fire wall. How hard is it to remove the fire wall?

Tidbart just removed his. He had to cut it in two.
What about cutting a neat access hole, make an also neat cover for when the job is done. You only need enough room to get a small pair of vise grips on what is sticking through.

MOP - good idea. I may do that because I also have to tighten the end of the stainless windshield top rail. While at it I may add a ladder mount that I would have to put a backing plate on.
Thanks,
Tom
They have some nice plastic pop out plastic access plates that are fairly cheap, West and most all other marine supplies stock them. Don't forget to tie a heavy string on your tools, it can be a bugger fishing things out of tight places!

No speakers. I wish I did. Maybe cutting holes for speakers would allow access to the broken screw. Two birds-one stone.
