:wrench: I have a 1999 Donzi 28zx (single engine - 454) and my boat is taking on water in the front storage compartment inside the cabin. It appears to only take on water when the boat has been out running on the water. I have powerwashed the sunroof hatch, anchor storage compartment and cleats and there are no signs water is entering these points. I have also checked both bilge pumps and they appear to be working. I have had the boat pulled out of the water and hoisted in the air and inspected for holes or cracks in the hull and no signs of any were found. The boat is kept out of the water on a hydro hoist on Lake Lewisville in Texas.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem and what they did to figure out where the leak was.

Thanks,

Have you checked the rub rail? Water could be splashing up from underneath and working its way into the joint between the deck and hull.

I would remove the old caulking and redo it, top and bottom.
