I don't have a spark at the plugs, weak one at coil on a 1969 351 in a Sweet 16. The distributor is a MSD 8384 with the internal pickup. There is power at the coil and the coil wire and both primary and secondary sides of the coil have continuity. I will start with replacing the wires, cap and rotor, any suggestions beyond that?
Thanks

Other then stated the MSD pick up could have a problem. Also just because the coil measures right it could still be bad. This is a tough problem to find without spending $$$

Check your ground strap from the engine block back to the battery negative post.

If it is a merc dog clutch, check your shift interrupt grounding switch also.

You will always find it if you start from known continuity and work forward through the entire system. If you try to pot shot it, you will never know were the fault actually is. Step-step, mark off all the leads that found continuity. At most it will take an hour to do this for the entire system.
