I am looking at a boat in Alaska. Any thoughts of how to get it to Florida for a realistic price? Does anyone know who can ship the boat for me? I assume once you got it to Seattle WA it would be the best place in the US to ship it to Florida from?

Any thoughts?

I wonder if shipping by ship may be better than by land?

I don't know what size you're shipping, but if it's big enough you have to break it down to ship it overland, you may consider some of the barge companies out of the Seattle area. A while back I was looking at shipping a 35 Albin to Alaska and even though it was expensive, the barge option was still cheaper than trying to get a trucker to run all that way north and deal with the boarder crossings.

Once you're in WA, it's a pretty straight forward process. I've used Uship to ship a couple bikes and my Donzi from back east to CA with decent results, but all shipping is getting expense these days.
