Looks nice, big block and all. I also like the gauge cluster. I was never a fan of the mid-80's guages. 375 hp, ought to move pretty nice.

Can't chop the throttle azz end is to heavy it will catch a stern roller, would be quicker and handle better with a 375 SB.

Engine notwithstanding, it is in remarkable condition. Can always put a small block back in it I suppose.

No doubt it looks to be in fabulous condition and very unique in its color, it will be a nice score for someone. I would like it with my engine and a Blackhawk drive that would be a nice package.

------I see an aluminum prop still on this 18. Bet performance would be vastly enhanced with a "Grizz" prop. The more I look at the color combo the more I like it........Bill S

olredalert-so do I. One thing, he said he spent 3000.00 having the drive checked. Kinda pricey, don't ya think? Maybe a full rebuild or a new one????

There is a 1985 classic 18 for sale on Graigslist's list. I think Donzi was sold at that time to the ex Chris Craft guy and his partner. The seller would take $8.5K. Alpha 1 drive. Looks nice. Is 1985 OK as far as quality etc.?

Thanks!

Sure wish I had the money, this boat can be had at great price. I think it's on it's 3rd listing in a row on ebay. I keep looking in amazement that it hasn't sold, it appears to be in REMARKABLE, like new condition.

Just wanted to get it to the top again, if someone looking for a beautiful used Donzi, look this one over!

Oops, forgot the link. (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1980-Donzi-18-foot-2-3_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ63685QQihZ009QQitemZ1 90230327361QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW)
