Couldn't stand it anymore and took the jet boat out. Where the Snake meets Palisades Reservoir, there is about 3 miles of open water until you hit ice. Current was ripping at the put in due to the lake being low and you basically put in in the river. Trolled for about an hour, went and looked at the ice (which was about 2 ft thick, and then called it a day. Nice to get out and get some sun. Never seen ice on the lake this late in the season. Saw three other boats, one of which I towed back to the ramp as his buddy had stepped on the gas line at the engine and broke the fitting off. No fish.
Donzi is out of storage, but need more water and less ice before I run her.
