I have had my Classic 18 for about a year now. I always take the seat cushions out wherever I go but have notice that is causing wear and tear on them (not to mention they take up a lot of space in the truck).
Is it possible to trailer with them in the boat and snapped in?(usually driving at about 75 mph with a prevailing headwind!)
I would like to know what ya'll do!

Jeff
I trailer mine with the seats in at 75. My boat does 70 on the water without any seat cushion problems. You might get more insight on this in a different forum.

Only way I would do that is if you have a travelling Co*kpit cover...otherwise, you'll likely be missing some cushions when you get where you're going.
Where in Texas are you boating?

c o c k p i t cover off, seats in... that's what i do with no problems. some of these guys are running 80 mph + on the water with their seats in, no problem... if you really want to be absolutely sure, though, i guess you need to take the seats out.

I have trailered my 18 500 plus miles on the expressway with no cover, seats in with no problem.

Thanks for the replies so far! Sounds about 50/50.
Jefe, I am in Houston but have a place in Rockport...hence the prevailing wind from the south!
I also like to hit Clear Lake and have been to Conroe lately even though it can get rough for an 18c.

OOPS! Sorry I'm in the For Sale Site:bonk:
I had one of my seat backs fly out on the highway once at 70. Luckily I was watching in the rearview and saw it go...
