Here's where the story gets weird.......
I've been looking for over a year for an eventual replacenent trailer for my steel wonder (but it's got GENUINE Cragar mags).
Had a couple in my sights, but they sold before I could get to them.
Current prospective sounds very promising and I'm talking to the seller and mention to him that I'm putting an 18' Donzi on it (1972 C18 5.0/230hp/ Alpha One). I know, 'bigger engine' someday....
He says, 'we've got a Donzi sitting in the yard'...turns out to be the freebie on craigslist! Small world.
Anyway, on my way to see the trailer, which hopefully will be coming home with me.
We'll see if any 'strays' follow me home, too. Right now, with clarity of thought, I hope not; but you never know!:)

Speaking of Cragar Mags (which were THE wheel in my day), I had to stop at Destination Daytona at the Luv's truckstop on the way home, and I saw a perfect old GTO with Cragar Mags. It said 455 HO on the fender, but I don't remember ever seeing Goat with a 455. I rember Firechickens with 455's. As I recall, the 400's would whup them.

About 4 or 5 years back I had a full numbers match silver/black '71 455 HO GTO. Best driving car on G60 bias ply's I ever drove. It became the Muscle Car Review car with the owner I sold it to in MI, who hyped the car for the rag interview at the Pure Stock Drags meet a month after I sold it...
