Is the stock 25 Mirage plus the best for a 28zx?
Does anyone have the part number for a K&N Air filter?
Why do the trim pumps leak from the cap?

I don't think the speed so much comes from the thinning as it does the extreme tolerances the prop is checked out to. A labbed prop is as perfect as can be, so the increase in balance and perfection from blade to blade means you get better performance.
I've always wanted a labbed prop but it's hard to justify for a pleasure boat. I've only run 1 boat (only counting boats that I put a bunch of hours on) that I didn't screw the prop(s) up to some extent. It's hard to keep props perfect when you use the boat a lot and explore new areas... even the slightest run-in with anything will blow any benefit from labbing away.
