A couple more. Sales in this neighborhood are en fuego! Makes me feel better that my new home won't be surrounded by empty dirt lots or inventory homes.

Home is about 2400 sq/ft. 4 bedroom, dining room, office. 40' deep garage stall for the boat..... Can't wait!
Lot is 75' wide x 165' deep. Decent sized....not huge but not too small either.

Where in FL are they still doing wood frame construction? I haven't seen a new house go up in my area that wasn't block or poured concrete in years.

Looks good and they are making good progress.

At this point, and the more complete it gets, the bigger it will look.

About 8 or 9 miles to the ramp....

Maybe the next one will be waterfront.....:crossfing:

A majority of the homes I have seen being built in Jacksonville are wood framed.....

:smash:Looks Good....now for the truly important question what Manufacture of Flooring is going in? Ya know Mohawk owns Dal-Tile, Karastan, Durkan, Horizon, Aladdin and Wunda Weve... we also have an exclusive with Dupont on the New Generation of Fiber (3GT Polymer) it got 37% Corn Sugar based PDO's compared to a Nylon. It's a similar concept as "Under Armor" it won't absorb any moisture.... check it out on www.dupont.com under Sorona.... or any of the www.mohawk360.com websites..

Looks great... gotta love the Garage for the Boat... too bad ya didnt install a floor drain in there or did ya.... you could wash it inside?

Are all the Slabs "Post Tension Systems" I built for 16 years prior to this Sales Gig... so I use to walk those sites like a rampant Hibachi Renegade.

Looks Great... hows that Cooler working?

Be Well

We have basements in Florida. We call them swimming pools.:)

Doc,

Not sure what brand tile is going in....I'll have to look at my paper work as to what we chose. Can't remember off the top of my head.

As far as the cooler, let me tell you. This past week it was a BIG HIT. My folks rented a huge (almost 7000 sq/ft )house on Lake Keowee here in SC for my lil bro's spring break. He is on a waterski show team.... ala Cypress Gardens type. They had 22 people total come down and stay there. They praticed all week long on the lake. 22 people and 3 Malibu towboats...and of course Damn Yankee. The cooler was a BIG HIT as it was used daily by everyone. You may be receiving an order or 2 for a cooler with no Donzi logo......

We built 1/4 mile from the ramp only to find out that there's less than 3' of water and a hard bottom during low tide so now we go 5 miles up the road to the Daytona city ramps.

Code here makes a wood frame tough. Much of Jacksonville is just outside the 120 mph zone. I'm not so lucky, we're in that blue sliver just to the right of the 100 mph indication on the map.

I know that ramp. When you come off the trailer, you had better be ready to get inside the marked channel immediately!

In Mandarin. Right near where 295, 95 and 9 come together....just south of the Avenues Mall.

Doesn't matter anymore. Even inside the marked channel there's not enough water at mean low tide for a 22C with a big block and I have the chewed up skeg to prove it

I just drove past there last weekend and couldn't believe how built up it's become. Nice area.
