The boat was delivered last night @ 7:00 no trouble at all. Of course I had to be somewhere else when they delivered the boat. I used Osborne Inboard Transport out of Kentucky. In fact these guys did a great job and even wanted to clean the boat before delivering it to the house. I would recommend there guys for any transport needs. Lenny If I were you I would give Kyle a Call.

2000 28ZX Scorpion
2000 Pacific trailer that looks like it was never used.
Mirage Plus 25
Bravo 1 performance drives.
228 hours.

So far everything is great.

I love your new ZX!! It is really nice. I know that you have to be proud!! I hope that you have great luck and no problems with it. What kind of power does it have?

Did you sell your 29 Z??

That boat has a couple of 377 Scorpions. Pretty blue Merc racing engines

The boat is amazing! Can't wait to get it out on the water... This is Trueser's son Matt. He sold his 22, I hope he didn't sell the 29 because that boat is mine! This will be the first Donzi in the driveway that we don't have to gut and rebuild!

It's a scorpion boat so it has the 377 scorpion motors!

She's a Looker Mike...and I bet a SCREAMER too:hyper:

So Matt...how does it work, do y'all flip a coin for who gets to take which boat on a given day.....Of course there is not really a looser in that situation:yes:

Pacific Trailer, must have originally come from here out west. Most of the dealers here in the southwest use their trailers. Looks good, 28ZX Scorp's are fun. Get ready to sharpen your chine walking skills.

One owner boat the guy was 70 years young. The boat and the trailer were on Lake Washington. FRESH Water only. The test drive I had a little chine walk and the salesman had some leakage. This thing is a rocket. The trailer and boat had to be in a time capsule. All I had to get was oil today, I'm not use to buying oil without any parts " QTY 2" All the motors and drives are one serial number apart..

Rick you coming to AoTH this year?

...Rick you coming to AoTH this year?

I'm trying to get my Dad to commit to bringing his 33ZX over from Knoxville. If he does then I'll be there for sure. If not then I'm considering driving out but the best solution is the 33 because of proximity.

Ted, show up at Lake Cumberland in the middle of May with that little Viper project of yours and we will make sure plenty of beer is served.

And like I already said, SHOTGUN!

Solid welded frame.

Boys this is easy. Just put on a double bow roller and pivot it on the existing roller shaft hole and your good to go bow eye in the middle of the two pivoting rollers. One more minor detail, there is no such thing as welded solid ti the frame, haven't you heard of a sawsall or a cutting torch! Options are abundant.

Thanks for the idea. That should work. And I would hate to cut/weld and have to repaint.

Did you say throw him out after a mile?

We flushed the WPM steering. Cleaned the filer and installed new lines on the pistons. Everything feels great.

Found a small water leak on one of the circulating water pump. Looks like it’s coming from the backing plate. This can wait another day.

She should be in the water tomorrow. High of 70???????????

Around 1-1:30 good for you? Launch in Hammond south winds!

Did cleaning the filter help? Yes, I also bleed the lines at the helm and the back again. WPM did say that when you turned the wheel fast that it would not be smooth. The drives are tight and it needs to be run.

Is the backing plate on the circulating pump common? Just replace the pump or the plate?

BUIZILLA

the backing plates are notorious for inside-out corrosion pinholes... the marine pumps usually use stainless plates, the auto pumps are steel...

Ended up being the weep hole on the bottom. I need to order me up a pump.

We did run today with the wind. The guy at the ramp said we were nuts. But we had fun, Even the ramp had white caps....

Pictures soon....
