I read earlier that Richard Weaver was making Donzi scripts and I even left him a message about 6 months ago.(I've since lost his number)
I have a set off of my 69, but the M is missing from one of them. I'd like to find a used set or see if Mr Weaver is still making these...
I also wonder if I can use one of my original sets and have them sand cast and then plated...has anyone ever attmepted this?
Lastly, does anyone know where I can get a set of the 3 stickers(Donzi logo, USA and Dolphin)

I tried him too and did not get a response.
Jamie at Lakeside did the decals for my 73 X-18 and nailed it perfectly. They were good quality and easy to apply. Drop him a line or call. He is a site sponsor and can get it done.

Weaver still has some and exact as possible. It just takes time for him to return calls sometimes it drops through the cracks with his other boat buisness-re-contact him.
Thanks Bill.. :)
Seano,

That's great news Jamie...I do need 2 complete sets of the decals.
I'll try and reach Mr. Weaver regarding the scripts.
I don't need the scripts.. My records go back to 1964 for the decals..
Also, Richard Weaver's is a different place from me.. Either way I am here if you need me.. ;)

seano reach out to Jamie Root (Rootsy)he has some restoration stuff for the old 16's including the cast donzi marine script and dash plates and some other goodies
I also have the scripts on file for the ;
DONZI MARINE
Hi-Performance Powerboats
I can also have them done in decal form..
Finding the original Metal badges is normally difficult & very costly. Also most of the ones I have seen need to be re chromed. The Reproductions are also costly.. But hey it's an expensive toy.. :) J

Jamie,
if you have all that go back to 1964 . . .
do you have the decals for a Corsican? I'm sure you're aware that the "DONZI" is a different size on this boat than the other 18' versions, letters are a bit smaller and the finish was a brushed aluminum.
I need two sets of these, can you help?
Mario L.
M,
If this is the style you are talking about feel free to give me a call. :) Jamie

That seems to be about what the last pair I saw on eBay went for. Not too surprising... but, that's almost half what I paid for my '65 Ski Sporter... with the scripts!
